Our philosophy at Manchester Music Mill Lessons program is to make learning music easily accessible, affordable, and approachable. Our instructors teach students from beginner to advanced and of all ages. Our teachers are able to keep the cost of lessons at an affordable level because they all work for themselves and MMM helps cover administrative costs for them so they can focus on being amazing teachers! We do not require a registration fee or lock you into a long tuition contract. Most students pay month to month, and some adult students do pop-in lessons when schedules can align.
We currently offer instruction for the following instruments: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Piano, and Voice. Our teachers set their own rates, their rates range from $20-$25/week for a ½ hour private lesson. Hourly lessons are available if needed, as well as group lessons, rates for those can be arranged with your instructor.
We also hold several performance opportunities each year for those students who wish to participate (not required and no pressure). We do two Jam Nights per year, these are put together by our teachers and they assemble small bands with drums students, bass students, guitar students, keyboard students, to perform together with the support of other local professional musicians and vocalists. It’s always a relaxed, fun, and entertaining event. There are a few teachers that do a recital that is less rock show, and more low key for those students that it is a better fit than the Jam Night. Coming soon we will be hosting a MMM Student Coffee house that will be for more advanced, solo/duo performers. All performance opportunities are done with no additional costs to our students.
